Shibarium Will Not Be Available During the Holidays Lead Shiba Inu Developer Confirms

Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama confirmed in a tweet on Saturday that Shibarium will not be released during the holidays.

While the developer claims that Shibarium will be released “very soon,” he has advised followers to focus on spending time with their families during this time.

“Who is Wen Shibarium? Please be assured that it will arrive very soon*, but not during a critical time for people to spend with their families (or the resulting New Year’s party time),” Kusama tweeted. “Enjoy the coming days; next year will be significant for humanity.”

More than half of the world wishes you a Merry Christmas. What is Wen Shibarium? Please be assured that it will arrive very soon*, but not at a critical time for people to spend with their families (or the resulting New Years party time). Enjoy the coming days; the coming year will be significant for humanity.

Shibarium developers, however, may not take a break, according to the developer. “While they sleep, we work,” Kusama tweeted in response to calls for him to rest during this time.

Shibarium, for example, is a Shiba Inu Layer 2 solution. For over a year, the community has been anticipating the launch. While it was supposed to be released in September, technical issues forced a postponement, and the team has yet to set a new release date.

Kusama stated in recently leaked Telegram chats that the beta launch is imminent. Notably, as The Crypto Basic reported last Monday, developers have taken the first step toward launching on beta.

On the back of Kusama’s latest comments, some users now believe that the project is ready and just waiting for a suitable date to launch.

If you can see the difference between the lines… (It’s ready to go, just waiting for the right moment)

According to enthusiasts, Shibarium is expected to compete with Polygon in terms of scalability and security.
