VeChain introduces Auth-Service, allowing users to personalize their wallet addresses. - Latest Crypto News and Events On Digital Money

VeChain introduces Auth-Service, allowing users to personalize their wallet addresses.

This feature allows users to personalize wallet addresses by selecting names from a secure list.
The choices will be saved for future sign-ins.
Profile picture features may also be introduced soon.

Do you have trouble remembering the locations of your wallets? You use the ‘Copy’ feature but are still concerned that the airdrop con will cost you dearly. What if you could give your wallet a nickname? VeChain has launched a system that allows users to name their wallets and personalize them. This breakthrough is the latest in a long line of breakthroughs designed to accelerate Web3 adoption.

The network recently released a new version of its Authentication Service (Auth-Service) that includes profile extension. According to reports, the extension would enhance the user experience by allowing the personalization of profiles with nicknames.

Say goodbye to impersonal, bleak #dApps! For more personalized user experiences on #VeChain, our Auth-Service now supports nicknames.

VeChain.Energy explained how it works in their blog post; the profile extension here introduces a new scope of a feature known as Profile on the application side. When a user interacts with the application, they are prompted to choose a nickname from a trusted source. These profile selections are saved on the blockchain and will be used for future sign-ins.

Because it converts non-personalized and generic wallet addresses to personalized addresses, this change has the potential to increase mass adoption. Users can easily manage their profiles at ‘profile.vechain.energy,’ and after signing in, they can make desired changes to their name.

Web3 promised a more personalized and engaging user experience; however, many platforms are experiencing difficulties in delivering results, and such progress is appreciated and welcomed.

According to the blog post:

“This is the second iteration of our Auth-Service, and we have more updates planned for the future. We’ll be adding more reputable sources as well as the ability to manage more profile information, such as profile pictures.”

Supply-chain Management Modernization
VeChain was founded with the intention of revolutionizing supply chain management through the use of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). VeChain Foundation recently announced a partnership with [email protected] Capital PLC (SYME), advancing to the second phase of their collaboration to build a revolutionary Web3 inventory modernization system. The platform will use blockchain and related technologies to help investors gain more value.

Eisenreich, a VeChain influencer, stated that phase two will include “Inventory Monetisation Platform 3.0.” B2B marketplaces, NFT issuance, DeFi, a roadmap for Web3 features, and a governance protocol are also included.

The network has also contributed significantly to real-world solutions for traceability and anti-counterfeiting. This is assisting luxury goods platforms and companies in lowering labor costs and increasing efficiency.

This technological advancement and its benefits should increase adoption, potentially lifting VET, its native token, out of the bear market. The token is currently trading at $0.01551 with a 0.45% drop in the last 24 hours, and this value is 94.43% lower than its all-time high of $0.2782 achieved on April 17th, 2021.
